Shared-Side Two-Division Compromise
This bracket shows the current 16-team playoff direction. Seeds come from final standings inside each division, then get interwoven into one championship field.
Teams knocked out of the main bracket move into teammate best-ball play instead of staying in the title path.
The lower brackets shown below are extra formats only, meant to keep more teams involved if the final league size makes them workable.
This lower bracket is just a working example for a 24-team setup, using the remaining 9-12 seeds from each division to give more teams something to keep playing for. It would only apply if the final league size makes that structure workable.
This optional side bracket takes the 8 teams eliminated in Round 1 of the main championship bracket and plays them through to a separate winner. The main 16-team bracket still works regardless because the top 8 teams from each division qualify either way; this bracket is just an extra idea to establish a third-place finisher and keep more teams engaged.
