Arrival Sheet

Print this for the first tee. Jungle Rules are a local course-condition rule, not standard USGA play.

Current Local Rules

Jungle Rules

Current starter rule: lift, clean, and drop anywhere outside marked hazards. Do not place the ball. If we switch back to normal preferred lies, keep that fairway-only.

Bare ground or standing water

If the ball is on ground with no grass, ground under repair, or standing water, take free relief no nearer the hole at the nearest point of complete relief.

Hazards, OB, and lost balls

Marked hazards stay playable from the penalty area. Out of bounds and lost balls are stroke-and-distance unless the committee announces a separate local-rule option.

Double par max

Double par is the hole max for pace of play. In Golf Ops score entry, anything over double par should be recorded as double par.

USGA note: the cleanest way to do this is as a committee local rule. Preferred lies in the fairway are a Model Local Rule; free relief from ground under repair or standing water uses the normal nearest-point-of-complete-relief drop. Jungle Rules is your club version of that setup.
